Tab’s personal growth and advancement as a songwriter and musician have culminated in a benchmark recording. His new self-produced album, I Hear Thunder, for his imprint, Whiskey Bayou Records, is a testament to his fiery exuberance that first marked his career in 1992. The record not only showcases his artistic brilliance but also his profound commitment to environmental advocacy, a legacy that extends beyond the stage into the heart of the land that inspires his bluesy soul.
On Benoit’s forthcoming national tour, fans will be delighted to hear the new songs and selected tracks from his vast catalog. Benoit does more than play the blues; he defines its future while paying homage to its rich past.

Ghalia Volt is a modern blues artist whose time has come. With her relentless drive, captivating stage presence, and ability to command audiences in both solo and full-band settings, Volt has emerged as a rising force on the international blues scene. Originally from Belgium and now rooted in the American South, Volt bridges the gap between tradition and innovation, blending the grit of Hill Country blues with the raw energy of rock and roll. Whether performing with her powerful trio or as a One Woman Band, her shows are an unforgettable journey through the blues, infused with passion, authenticity, and an undeniable mystique.
Over the past two years, Volt’s artistry has grown into a commanding presence on stages around the world. In 2023, she was featured on 60 Minutes in an exploration of the modern blues, a milestone that affirmed her rising profile. Her critically acclaimed album Shout Sister Shout!, recorded at the legendary Rancho De La Luna studio in Joshua Tree, California, reached #2 on the Billboard Blues chart. Yet, it is her live performances that define her. In 2024, she toured extensively across the U.S. and Europe, sharing stages with artists like Tab Benoit, Samantha Fish, Jesse Dayton, Dragon Smoke, and Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band. She also took the spotlight as a featured headliner on the acclaimed Ruf Records’ 30th Anniversary Tour alongside Samantha Fish and Canned Heat, cementing her reputation as a standout act.
