Traditional Irish dance…with a kickin’ twist!

 

At Duffy Academy, centuries-old Irish steps, sets, and céilí dances are joyfully preserved, practiced and performed by students of all ages. From lively reels and jigs to beloved traditional group dances, dancers build their foundation in the rich history of Irish culture.

Those traditional movements are then thoughtfully entwined with contemporary music and modern choreography, creating performances that feel both deeply rooted and vibrantly current. The result is a show that is timeless… yet bursting with fresh energy.

From powerful Team performers to lively youth and adult dancers, and of course the beloved Wee Ones (who are sure to bring smiles, and perhaps a few chuckles), every group takes the stage with pride and personality.

Each choreography is designed not only to showcase strong technique, but to tell a story. Through rhythm, character, and expression, dancers embody narrative and invite audiences to experience those moments with them. Whether spirited and bold or playful and lighthearted, the stories unfold through footwork, music, and heart.

Based in Hadley, Massachusetts, Duffy Academy performs throughout the local community at schools, festivals, parades, and cultural events, sharing the joy of Irish dance with audiences of all ages.

This is a lively, family-friendly celebration filled with music, movement, and connection. A spirited evening sure to delight the whole family. You won’t want to miss this “ROARing” St. Patrick’s hooley packed with Irish flair and infectious energy.

Box Office Hours are 3pm – 6pm, Tuesday – Friday. 

Service fees are applied per ticket to ALL transactions, including purchases by phone and in person.

We charge service and processing fees on each ticket sold to support the staffing and running of the box office. Some renters add an artist fee to some shows as well. As a non-profit entity, the Academy strives to keep the cost of our tickets as low as possible. We appreciate your support as we continue to provide convenient box office services and keep your community theater a vibrant venue.

This event is participating in the Card to Culture Program! They will be offering 10 seats in the upper balcony at a discounted price of $10 to any patrons with a valid EBT, WIC, or ConnectorCare card. To purchase these tickets, please visit or call the box office Tuesday through Friday between 3:00pm and 6:00pm. Limit 4 tickets per cardholder per show.
