Come See Me in the Good Light is a community held celebration of Andrea Gibson—their poems, their courage, and the way their words have carried so many of us through the darkest and brightest seasons of our lives. This documentary gathers us in shared breath and witness, honoring Andrea’s legacy of queer tenderness, political truth-telling, and radical love. It’s more than a screening; it’s a collective offering, a moment to stand together in the good light they taught us to seek, make, and protect.
We are honored to welcome and have words shared by acclaimed singer-songwriter and longtime friend of Andrea, Mary Lambert, whose music has held space for queer grief and joy for over a decade. We are also joined by award-winning poet and editor Adrie Rose, whose work embodies the fierce gentleness Andrea championed.
Fees always apply to purchase. Tickets can be purchased in person or over the phone Tuesday through Friday 3pm to 6pm. Tickets can also be purchased online at any time for no additional cost/fee. This event is participating in the Card to Culture Program! They will be offering 10 seats at a discounted price of $10 to any patrons with a valid EBT, WIC, or ConnectorCare card.
