Signature Sounds + The Parlor Room Collective present Peter Rowan with Sam Grisman Project playing music from Old & In The Way and More
as part of Back Porch Festival
Saturday, March 28
Show starts at 7pm, Doors 6:30pm

There will be two opening acts for this show, Trey Hensley, and Big Richard.

Peter Rowan

GRAMMY®-Award winner, member of the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame, and now winner of the Inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award in Music given by ‘Your Roots are Showing’ (Ireland), Peter Rowan is a singer-songwriter with a career spanning over five decades.  From his early years playing under the tutelage of Bluegrass veteran Bill Monroe, to his time in Old & In the Way alongside Jerry Garcia, and his breakout as a solo musician and bandleader, Rowan has built a devoted, international fan base through a solid stream of recordings, collaborative projects, and constant touring.

Sam Grisman Project

Sam Grisman Project  brings together a rotating lineup of world-class musicians to explore the rich legacies of American roots music incorporating their unique voices. Playing in SGP in 2024-2025: Sam Grisman (bass and vocals), Chris J. English (percussion and vocals), Logan Ledger (guitar and vocals) , Victor Furtado (clawhammer banjo and vocals), Max Flansburg (guitar and vocals), Dominick Leslie (mandolin and vocals), John Mailander (fiddle and mandolin), Matt Flinner (mandolin), Nat Smith (cello), Alex Hargreaves (fiddle) and more. Sam Grisman Project continues to push boundaries and explore new sonic landscapes while honoring the music that inspires them.

GRAMMY® Award-winning musician and singer/songwriter Trey Hensley—referred to as “Nashville’s hottest young player” by Acoustic Guitar magazine—was voted the 2023 and 2025 IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) Guitar Player of the Year. A multiple GRAMMY® nominee, Hensley received his first GRAMMY® Award at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards in L.A. on Feb. 2, 2025 as a member of The Taj Mahal Sextet.
Hensley is now embarking on a solo career, having enjoyed a successful string of four critically acclaimed recording projects and several years of highly-touted live performances with GRAMMY® Award winning resophonic guitarist Rob Ickes.

Since exploding onto the Colorado scene in 2021, the four women of the supergroup Big Richard have been on a wild ride. Although they showed up to their first gig armed with homemade puff paint t-shirts, a load of crass jokes, and all dressed intentionally like Stevie Nicks, from the first few notes of their tight vocal harmonies, dazzling string virtuosity, and clever arrangements, no one had any choice but to take them seriously. BONNIE Big Richard is:

BONNIE SIMS – MANDOLIN & GUITAR
JOY ADAMS – GRAMMY AND EMMY AWARD-WINNING CELLIST
HAZEL ROYER – BASS & GUITAR
EVE PANNING – FIDDLE
