ACCESSIBILITY
Handicap parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis at public spaces on the streets surrounding the theater, as well as in the municipal parking lots nearby.

There is a ramp up to the theater. The entrance is off of the sidewalk in front of the building, to the left of the front lawn (bordering Pulaski Park).

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

The Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) operates several bus routes that stop at the Academy of Music in Northampton, MA. Here are some of the key routes:

• Route R44: This route serves the Academy of Music and includes stops at Northampton Courthouse, Thornes Marketplace, and Big Y/Hampshire Plaza.
• Route R41: This route connects Northampton to Easthampton, Holyoke Mall, and Holyoke Community College, with a stop at the Academy of Music.
• Route G73E: This express route travels from Springfield Union Station to the Academy of Music, passing through Holyoke Mall and Conz Street/Dialysis Center.
• Route R42: This route connects Northampton to Williamsburg and includes a stop at the Academy of Music.
• Route B48: This route travels between Northampton and Holyoke via Route 5, with a stop at the Academy of Music.

Additionally, the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) will be fare-free for all riders from November 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. This is part of the state-funded “Try Transit” program.
