The Academy of Music Theatre presents the Fourth Annual Academy Regional Youth Poetry Slam on the Academy’s historic stage, where young poets from high schools across the Pioneer Valley perform original work for cash prizes.
Hosted by Lyrical Faith, this is the only poetry slam in western Massachusetts showcasing the talented and powerful voices of tomorrow’s changemakers!
We are proud to participate in Mass Cultural Council’s Card to Culture program in collaboration with the Department of Transitional Assistance, the Department of Public Health’s WIC Nutrition Program, the Massachusetts Health Connector, and hundreds of cultural organizations across Massachusetts by expanding cultural access for low-income and working families.
We will be offering 10 seats FREE OF CHARGE to any patrons who are EBT, WIC, and ConnectorCare cardholders. To purchase these tickets, please visit or call the box office Tuesday through Friday between 3:00pm and 6:00pm. Limit 4 tickets per cardholder per show. Tickets are sold on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Fees always apply to purchase. Tickets can be purchased in person or over the phone Tuesday through Friday 3pm to 6pm. Tickets can also be purchased online at any time for no additional cost/fee.
