Pioneer Valley Performing Arts Public Charter School has been providing free, arts-focused, college-preparatory education in the Pioneer Valley for 30 years!

Enrolling students in Grades 7-12, PVPA offers intensive exposure to the performing arts within the context of an excellent college preparatory curriculum. Admission is free and open to all MA residents on a space available basis, determined through lottery.

PVPA’s Arts curriculum offers classes in Dance, Music, Theatre, Visual Arts, and Technical Design and Production. The Technical Design and Production Department encompasses Costuming, Stage Design (lighting/sound/set), and Film.

PVPA strives to provide students with a supportive and challenging environment that is responsive to multiple learning styles, emphasizes learning through the arts, and integrates critical and creative thinking throughout the curriculum.
